1966-1974. Studies on the Okhotsk-Chukotka volcanic belt: 1:50 000 geological mapping; origin and geological evolution of the Meso-Cenozoic Okhotsk-Chukotka volcanic belt, ash and pyroclastic flow deposit formations, their significance and relationships with mafic magmatism.

Studies on the Kola Peninsula since 1974: updating the 1:200 000 geological maps (1974-1979); the regional geological-geophysical investigations of the Kola Ultradeep Well area - especially for the purposes of ultradeep drilling data interpretation (1980-1985).

1985 to Feb. 1995 Institute of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Crystal Chemistry of Rare Elements (Moscow) of the Ministry of Geology: Interpretation of geological and tectonic evolution of the Kola Peninsula and adjacent areas in the Early Precambrian.

Interpretation of geological and tectonic evolution of the Kola Peninsula and adjacent areas in the Early Precambrian.

1986 to 1991 - Vice-chairman of the working group:
1) Reconstructions of paleogeodynamic settings of the Early Precambrian units origin based on the geological (structural, lithological, metamorphic zoning) and geochemical data.
2) Compiling the map of paleogeodynamic units of Kola Peninsula (1:1000 000)
3) Elaborating of pattern of the Kola Peninsula upper crust based on the synthesis of the paleogeodynamic reconstructions, of the geophysical data and 3-dimensional density modeling results.
